purposeful in Parenting

As parents we all desire to have kids that we and others enjoy. I often quoted to my kids the words of a friend, “As your parent, it is my job to delight in you, and it is your job to be delightful.” We want our kids to be full of fun, exuberance, and adventure, but we also want them to be respectful, self-disciplined, and obedient. How do we encourage both? How do we turn a spirited child or willful teen into an upright, mature adult? What is God’s design for parenting? Join us for a three day retreat to learn together how to become the parents our kids need us to be and to gain tools and skills for raising up the next generation.

leaving a Legacy

god calls us as parents and grandparents to Pass our faith to next generation. the home is the best discipleship center. to keep the family faith tree healthy we must be intentional when we wake up, when we eat, when we travel, and when we get ready to sleep. deu. 5:9
