KENNEBEC RAFT TRIP

MEN

PURPOSE: FOSTER INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY, SPIRITUAL GROWTH, AND COURAGEOUS LIVING

At Thrive, we believe adventure is more than adrenaline—it’s a catalyst. God uses shared challenge, beauty in creation, and risk to draw us closer to Himself and to one another. He created you for a life of adventure and intimacy.

Join us for a Thrive rafting adventure on the powerful Kennebec River. As we navigate Class I–IV whitewater, we’ll step into something deeper than a day on the water. Through shared challenge we will foster intentional community, pursue spiritual growth, and practice courageous living.

Between rapids and around conversations, you’ll be invited to reflect, connect, and lean into the life God is calling you to live – not safely on the sidelines, but fully engaged.

This isn’t just rafting. It’s an opportunity to grow stronger in faith, deeper in community, and bolder in how you live.

KATAHDIN WINTER ASCENT 2027

MEN

PURPOSE: CONTENTMENT IN THE LORD AND NOT IN OUR CIRCUMSTANCES

Climbing Mount Katahdin, Maine’s tallest mountain, is always an adventure. Climbing it in the heart of winter is something few ever experience. This is a strenuous expedition. You will face elevation, exposure, and the full force of harsh winter conditions. It will test your endurance, your mindset, and your resolve.

And it will be worth it.

There is something refining about stepping into an environment that demands focus and humility. As men, we rarely slow down long enough to examine what is shaping us. Sometimes it takes leaving comfort behind—embracing challenge and risk—to realign our hearts with what truly matters.

In the stillness of snow-covered ridges and the discipline required to move forward, we have a unique opportunity to pursue contentment, to evaluate our priorities, and to return grounded in God’s values rather than the world’s expectations.

This is more than a climb. It’s a reset.
A chance to grow stronger—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

SOLO CAMPING

MEN

PURPOSE: CONNECT WITH THE LORD

Spending two days camping on the shores of Donnell Pond offers more than just time outdoors it offers space to step away, reflect, and encounter God in creation.

For centuries, men have marked important life transitions by journeying into the wilderness. These sacred pauses have served as rites of passage, creating space to listen, wrestle, surrender, and grow. In solitude and simplicity, distractions fall away and what truly matters rises to the surface.

Even Jesus regularly withdrew to places to pray, modeling a rhythm of retreat before re-engagement. In the quiet of the wilderness, clarity comes. Identity is strengthened. Calling is renewed.

As we camp along the water’s edge, surrounded by forest and sky, this will be an invitation, not just to adventure, but to intentional reflection. A time to mark where you’ve been, discern where God is leading you, and return home grounded, strengthened, and aligned with Him.

Rooted in faith and brotherhood – this adventure is about building perseverance, sharpening your purpose, and being present in the moments that matter most.

Go home equipped to be present, be purposeful, to perserve, be a servant leader and to love God & others well – at home, at work and in your community.

BACKPACK CUTLER COAST

MEN

PURPOSE: CONFRONT LIES & EMBRACE GOD’S TRUTH

There’s a voice many men carry quietly:

“It’s all up to you.”
“You’re on your own.”
“You don’t have what it takes.”

At Thrive, we believe those lies lose their power when men step into truth – together.

This two-day backcountry adventure is an invitation to leave behind the noise and distractions of everyday life and enter a place where challenge clarifies and brotherhood strengthens. As we hike the rugged beauty of the Culter Coast trail, the wilderness becomes more than scenery—it becomes an opportunity to grow closer to God and each other.

Through shared miles, honest conversations, and intentional spiritual rhythms, we will practice the tools that build lasting spiritual health. We will learn to replace isolation with brotherhood, self-reliance with surrender, and fear with courageous obedience.

This is not about escaping, but about formation.

This is an invitation to walk in truth, shoulder to shoulder with other men, and return home stronger in faith, clarity, and purpose.

Step away. Step into the life God is calling you to live.

SEA KAYAK THE COASTLINE

MEN OR WOMEN

PURPOSE: BOUNDARIES

Join Thrive as we kayak navigating Maine’s rugged, craggy shore. The tides, wind, and open water require awareness, intention, and steady direction—just like a life rooted in Christ.

This adventure is about more than paddling. It’s about boundaries.

As we move through the water together, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about guarding your heart, choosing what you allow in, and having the courage to keep out what doesn’t belong.

Through shared miles, meaningful conversation, and the beauty of creation, we foster intentional community while pursuing practical spiritual formation. You’ll leave not just with having had fun on the sea with possible seal sightings, but with greater discernment and confidence in how you live.

At Thrive, adventure shapes us.

We paddle with purpose.
We grow in truth.
We practice courageous living.

Set your direction.
Guard what matters.

ROCK CLIMBING

MEN OR WOMEN

PURPOSE: RISK TAKING & SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Following Jesus has always required courage. Growth rarely happens without risk.

At Thrive, we create environments where you can step into challenge safely—physically, mentally, and spiritually. This climbing adventure is more than learning to scale rock. It’s an opportunity to confront fear, build trust, and discern where God may be calling you to take a faithful risk in your own life.

Join us for guided top-rope climbing in Clifton, ME or Acadia National Park. No experience is needed. We provide all equipment, professional instruction, and a supportive community that encourages you every step of the way.

As you lean back in the harness and trust the rope, you’ll also be invited to reflect: Where is God asking you to trust Him more?
What step of obedience feels just beyond your comfort zone?

Our guides are certified through the Professional Climbing Instructors Association and hold wilderness medical certifications, ensuring a safe and professionally led experience.

PADDLE BOARD ADVENTURE

YOUNG ADULT MEN OR WOMEN

PURPOSE: FORMATION & TRUSTING GOD

Get a group together to enjoy a day on the water! “Into the Current” is a young adult paddle board adventure. This experience takes formation onto the water—where balance is tested and growth happens in motion. It is a perfect opportunitity to invite friends who are asking spiritual questions or for those that are believers and anywhere in betweeen.

Through guided paddle routes, short trail-style teachings, and intentional moments of challenge and rest, participants explore what it looks like to trust God, listen to the Holy Spirit, endure with hope, and keep moving forward when conditions change.

You don’t need paddle board experience—just a willingness to say yes to adventure. Expect fun, meaningful conversation, quiet stretches on the water, and a deeper awareness of how God forms us when we choose to enter the current instead of resisting it.

PADDLE THE ACADIA WATERWAYS

WOMEN

PURPOSE: TRUST GOD IN THE TENSION OF LIFE & SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

This Thrive women’s paddle adventure is an invitation to slow your pace and encounter God in the beauty of creation. As we move across the water together, we’ll practice rhythms of rest, reflection, and honest connection with God and with one another.

Many women carry full schedules and full hearts. Work, family, relationships, various commitments, and the hidden weight of personal trials can leave us feeling isolated in the midst of it all. We desire depth with God, yet often don’t know how to find Him in the tension.

At Thrive, we believe formation happens when we intentionally create space for it.

Through guided reflection, shared conversation, and activities on the water, you’ll learn practical ways to recognize God’s presence in both calm and challenge. This is not about escaping life—it’s about learning to meet Christ within it.

ISLAND CAMPING

WOMEN

PURPOSE: JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH, REST & RENEWAL

This camping adventure is designed to help you unplug, breathe deep, and remember how to celebrate. We will ferry over to Cranberry Island and camp near the ocean and experience shared meals, campfires, laughter, fun, and joy that comes from simply being alive—together.

Guided by Nehemiah 8:10 — “The joy of the Lord is your strength,” this adventure invites you to rediscover joy not as something earned, but as a gift to receive. Through island camping, short hikes, rock/seaglass hunting, stories around the fire, and unhurried time outdoors, we create space to rest, play, and give thanks.

There are moments for reflection and gratitude, but the heart of this adventure is celebration—of God’s goodness, of community, and of the life we’ve been given. Gather friends and come ready to laugh, explore, eat well, sleep under the stars, leave lighter than you arrived and be quipped to find joy in your everyday life.

CUTLER COAST BACKPACKING

WOMEN

PURPOSE: ROOTED IN THE WILD

You don’t have to carry regret.
You don’t have to live in shame.
You don’t have to stay stuck in “what could have been.”

Jesus has already paid those debts. Freedom is not something you earn—it’s something you walk in.

This Thrive women’s coastal trail adventure is an invitation to step forward with your eyes fixed on Christ and your heart anchored in grace. As we hike the rugged shoreline—climbing and descending along terrain that mirrors the rhythms of our own lives—we’ll explore what it looks like to glorify God in the present moment and move forward unburdened.

The trail will challenge us. The beauty will steady us. The community will strengthen us.

Gather a group of women and join us for two days of shared adventure, honest conversation, and spiritual growth. Together, we will foster intentional community, pursue deeper roots in Christ, and practice courageous living—one step at a time.

Walk in freedom.
Root yourself in truth.

SOLO CAMPING

WOMEN

PURPOSE: CONNECT WITH THE LORD

Spending two days camping on the shores of Donnell Pond offers more than time outdoors—it creates sacred space to step away, breathe deeply, and encounter God through His creation.

Throughout history, women have found renewal in seasons of retreat—intentional pauses that allow the heart to rest, heal, and realign. In the quiet of the wilderness, away from expectations and responsibilities, distractions fade and what truly matters gently rises to the surface.

Even Jesus withdrew to places to pray, modeling a rhythm of stepping away before stepping back in. In stillness, clarity comes. In rest, identity is strengthened. In surrender, calling is renewed.

As we gather along the water’s edge, surrounded by forest and open sky, this is an invitation—not just to adventure—but to restoration. A time to release what you’ve been carrying, receive what God wants to pour in, and return home grounded, refreshed, and confident in who He has called you to be.
